/buymerch¶
Script-provided
Registered by buymerch. Start it with /lua run buymerch.
Syntax¶
/buymerch <item name> [qty]
/buymerch list | help
/buymerch id <id> <slot> [qty]
Description¶
Buy from an open NPC merchant by item name, verifying that the item actually
arrives in your bags before reporting success. A thin CLI over lib.merchant.
Open the merchant window first, then run the command.
Subcommands¶
| Subcommand | What |
|---|---|
<item name> |
Buy 1 of the named item. The whole line is the name. |
<item name> <qty> |
Buy <qty>, e.g. /buymerch Water Flask 5. *<qty> is the explicit form. |
list |
Show the merchant's buy list. |
id <id> <slot> [qty] |
Direct send — skip the name lookup and buy by id + slot. |
dump [i] |
Raw record probe (diagnostics). |
raw <tail> |
Send buy_from_merchant <tail> verbatim. |
help |
Print usage. |
Safety¶
- Buying spends coin, once per command — there is no loop, no "buy all", and no retry.
- Every buy is verified: the item must arrive in the bags, or the result is
reported
UNCONFIRMED, not success. A merchant that refused (no coin, sold out, session ended) or a wrong id/slot shows up as unconfirmed rather than a silent failure. - Ids and slots are read live per merchant open and never cached.
Examples¶
/lua run buymerch
/buymerch list
/buymerch Coldain Ring # buy 1
/buymerch Water Flask 20 # buy 20
/lua stop buymerch
Across the group (each box buys from its own open merchant):
/dge /buymerch Water Flask 20
